Existing Client Hardware Configurations
All of our customers have a unique combination of client and server machines.
Smaller installations use peer-to-peer networks (Mac OS or Win 95/98/NT/2000
Pro) and largers sites tend to have a dedicated server. Some examples of various
individual technologies in use are listed below and the combinations are endless.
Client Machines
- Apple G3's, iMacs and eMac's from 500 mhz to 1.25 Ghz
- Pentium/Celeron/Athalon 800, 850, 1000, 1.6 Ghz, 2.0 Ghz or 2.4 Ghz
- Generally speaking, any machine less than 4 years old.
- Slower (not recommended, but will work)
- Pentium 85, 100, 133, 166, 233, 300, 400, 600
- Macintosh's 68040 processor
- Power Macintoshes 601, 603, 603e & 604 processor
Operating Systems
- Mac OS 9.1, 9.2.1, 9.2.2 or OS-X 10.2.6 or later (10.3 recommended)
- Windows 95 (release B or C), Windows 98, Windows Millennium Edition (single
user only)
- NT 4 workstation (service pack 3, 4, 5 or 6a)

Network Topology
- Ethernet 10Base-T

- AppleTalk or MAC-LAN Connect (to enable Macintosh's in the network) with
no problems sharing data with Theatre Manager.
