Queued Reports allow users to specify which reports they want to be printed on specific schedules according to specific intervals. Queued Reports are accessed through the reports window.
To add a report to the queue follow the steps listed below.

Do this by single clicking the value.
The report criteria window will open with the data for the selected report.

Refer to the section of this manual on selecting search criteria.
Refer to the section of this manual on selecting sort criteria.
The Batch Times For Window will open.

To enter a date click in the field and type in the date.
To enter the time click in the field and type in the time.
This is done by clicking on the drop down frequency list. There are five choices. The frequency determines how often and when the batch will run based on the date and time set for the Batch. The following is a brief description of the different frequency settings.
One Time |
Create the report only once. |
Weekdays |
Create the report Monday through Friday. |
Daily |
Create the report every day. |
Weekly |
Create the report once a week starting on the specified date, then every 7 days after that. |
Monthly |
Create the report once a month starting on the specified date, then every month after that. |
The report has now been added to the reporting queue and will start printing at the specified date and time.
When you log out of Theatre Manager you will receive a reminder of any reports which are queued to print later in the day and asked if you still wish to log off.
The need may arise to change the printing intervals for queued reports. If so look to the steps described below as to how to change queued printing intervals.

To enter the date, time and frequency of a queued report, look to the adding queued reports section of this manual.
The changes to the report will be saved
At times queued reports will need to be printed before or after their set times, but the rarity of this occurrence would not see the queue altered. To immediately print a queued report follow the instructions set below.

Do this by single clicking on the value.
The report will be printed to the default printer.

Note: If the batch report has a frequency set to 'One Time', the report will be removed from the queued reports as soon as it has finished printing. Otherwise, the date for the next time of printing will be set according to the specified frequency. |
When a report is put in the queue to run only once then it will remove itself from the queue as soon as the report has been generated. Since the other four frequency settings run continuously, none of the queued reports will be automatically shut down.
