Web Sales Options

Enable Web Sales
Enables sales to occur on the web. If turned off, users will receive a message that the site is down.
Method
How web sales are going to be done. Using 'Theatre Manager' means you are hosting your own web site and have a direct pipeline from the web site to the computer that will respond to the sales requests. Using 'CyberSeats' means that you have a contract with them to host your web sales.
Perform Hex Conversion
Perform Hexadecimal conversion before sending page parameters so that parameters within the html of each page will be sent as hexadecimal instead of text.
Max Tickets
Allows you to set the Maximum # of tickets in an order.
Remove performance
Allows you to remove performances from online sales a certain number of minutes prior to performances.
Hold Letter
Allows you to set the letter that seats will be held under while an online sale is being completed.

Server Configuration

Auto Start
If web sales listener window is opened, automatically start the listener and allow web sales to begin. If auto start is not enabled, you can manually start it from the Web Listener window.
Log Connections
Used to log the date, time, request, browser, CPU and operating system of each request to a file.
Timeout X minutes
The maximum number of minutes of inactivity before user must log back in to the web page.
Log Size X lines
The maximum number of lines in the web listener display log. Larger numbers require more memory.
Connections (maximum)
The maximum number of simultaneous requests that will be tracked. More connections means more people can access the server, but overall response will slow. Allow up to 5 connections per expected user.
Send time /60th second
The maximum time (in 60th of a second) to allow the server to take to send a reply to any one request. Shorter means more people can be serviced simultaneously, but individual response might be slow if there are many simultaneous connections being made.
Packet Size
Between 256 and 8192 bytes. Smaller packets means more transmissions to send a reply but other connections will have more time to be serviced while all the data is sent.
