Verifying Seats

This is an internal database verification that ensures all tickets have been created and are properly setup. The verification routine recalculates the performance totals based on ticket sales for the performances that are being verified.

1. Make a backup of the database

   Click Here If you are unsure how to make a backup copy of the database.

2. Log on to Theatre Manager in single user mode (Optional)

   Logging on in single user mode simply means only one user is logged on to the program. It is also preferable that the single user that is logged on to do the verification is a master user, as a master user is certain to have access to the verify function.

3. Open the Events and Dates Window

4. Find the Event you wish to Verify

   Click Here to learn how to search for events.

5. Single click on the series (performance) you want to verify

   The selected performance will now be highlighted.

6. Click the Verify Seats Button

   The following dialogue box opens.

   

7. Click Yes, only if you have a Backup

   A progress bar will appear detailing the function and the progress.
