This version is a minor release with a few changes though-out Theatre Manager.

Upgrade to version 5.72 if you are not already at that version. Refer to earlier release notes about the process.

Web Sales

Solved the back button problem not releasing seats on internet sales under the following condition: If the user asks for a best seat, then a next best, then a next best (and so on), then uses his/her browser to go back to one of the previous pages to select those prior Îbestâ seats. The web sales listener should have released the final selected seats and told the user not to use the back button. It does this now.
Changed code on the web listener so that it deals with selection of province or state on the patron page much better. If you choose any country other than Canada or the USA, it will only allow a province or state of 'Not applicable'. If you pick Canada or the USA, it will force a correct province or state to be selected. This will allow foreign visitors to sign up on your page and ensure better data for Canada/USA.
Sales Plug-ins now work with Web Sales
In order to support plug-ins for the box office and Web Sales, the following code (in red) should be added to the setPROMOTIONS_LIST.html page:

Reports

Fixed some issues with the Order & Payments >> Receivables-As of a Specific Date report. This report will running properly and ignore non-financial transactions. Running this report on a day to day basis should agree with the daily change in A/R shown in your end of day postings.

Event Setup

You can now change the season on any event. If you do change the season on an event, it will take all performances off sale, change the season and verify all sold tickets. You will need to manually enable the performances for sales after the process if complete.

Sales Promotions

Increased the size of the sales promotions descriptions from 30 to 40 characters

Miscellaneous Changes

The system calls have been improved which allows the help function (clicking on the question mark button from the tool bar in Theatre Manager) to work with Mac OS-X. You will no longer get the "Unable to Load Page" error.
Added the ability to select notifications for sales promotions and for events. For example, if somebody buys anything to an event, an email could be sent out. Or if somebody buys a ticket for a restaurant, an email could be sent out. You can add the notifications within the Event tab in Events & Dates and within the detail of sales promotion.
