Key changes:

Regular price promotions can be set to 'allow use at other outlets'. This provides control over which promotions can be used by other outlets.
New report to predict revenues for unsold seats
Theatre Manager will now run in classic mode on OS-X 10.4.2

Preparing for the Update

Reorganize the database (there are minimal changes to the database since version 6.64)

The user will need to

Before upgrade	Read the release notes for any version prior and follow the directions Complete your end of day. Deposit all funds, create all sales entries and post to the GL. Verify the database using data utilities and ensure that everything is ok. Make a backup copy of the database
After upgrade	None
Optional Steps	Go to Setup->System Tables->Sales Promotions and update any regular price promotions. Change the flag that indicates which promotions are available at other outlets. (This only applies to those sites with the outlet version)
Time Required	Updating the database from 6.65 will take less than a minute

Sales Promotions

In the sales promotion set up window, there is a new check box that indicates 'allow use at other outlet'. If checked, the regular sales promotion can be used by another outlet - if the outlet is able to sell tickets to your event. When checked, you must provide a commission structure to allow payment for the ticket sale to the other outlet.
Change to ticket sales process for outlet sales to now search based on this flag for events sold at another outlet.

Reports

Added a new report that attempts tp calculate the value of the unsold seats. It can be run for a performance, event or grand total and is found under the 'Ticket Printing, Invoicing & Inventory Analysis' category. It is called 'Potential Revenue from Unsold Seats' and is valid for reserved seating events only. An example is shown below. key things to note about the report:

This report goes through each seat that is in the performance. It looks at the price codes available for that seat and figures out which price code has the maximum price for that seat. This results in the price code column. If a seat has more than one valid price, the most expensive price is selected.
If that seat is currently in 'hold' status, then it is counted in the #held seats column
If the seat is already sold, then it is counted in the #sold column. The revenue for that seat is placed in the 'Sold Seat Revenue' column. Note that the revenue is price less discount. This column excludes all ticket fees and taxes.
If the seat is not sold, then it is counted in the #seats available column, along with the full value of the ticket. This is never discounted and is the optimistic guess at maximum revenue.
The 'Max $ @ Max Price' column is the total of the currently sold seat revenue plus the unsold seat revenue. Or the maximum that could possibly be derived from the unsold seats adding in what has already been sold.
The 'Max $ @ average price' is a less optimistic estimate. It assumes that all remianing tickets will be sold for the average price of the currently sold tickets. Meaning simply, that the mix of tickets will remain relatively constant and the average will not change.

The report shows max revenue if the house is sold out and includes all seats. If your venue has standing room only tickets, they will also be included in the count (they cannot be excluded in this version).

Misc Changes

Fix to allow Theatre Manager to run on OS-X Tiger (10.4)
In the commission setup, the percentage paid to another outlet can no longer exceed 100%.
Fix to web sales so that more than one subscription promotion discount can be displayed.
