Version 6.77.04

This update contains some minor fixes for issues reported to support. It contains one new fix to limit number of people who can build a mail list at the same time.

It also contains a significant enhancement to the problem of people editing pages using a DOS based editor.

Note: Read prior release notes for any mandatory web pages changes. There are no mandatory web page changes for this version.

Before upgrade	Read the release notes for any version prior and follow the directions Stop web sales and close all shopping carts. Then manually release any left over 'i' holds in any events that you need to do this in Complete your end of day. Deposit all funds, create all sales entries and post to the GL. Verify the database using data utilities and ensure that everything is ok. Make a backup copy of the database

Optional Steps	Go to setup -> system preferences -> box office tab and alter the number of simultaneous mail list executions. It is recommended that you do not change this value. Go to setup -> default data -> web tab and check/uncheck the IIS compatibility setting as suits your venue.

Web Sales

An issue was discovered where buying a new subscription online would not update the favourite seat list in the subscription tab. This has been fixed (Note tickets were always booked).

Changed the method of notification of donations sold on line to be the same as version 6.75

Single ticket sales now allow all promotion types to be used except 'season' types

Added an option to address a problem we have just identified with IIS servers. A couple of sites were reporting that end part of a web page was getting cut off when it was sent to the User browser. We have discovered the cause of this and added a work around inside TM to address this issue. From what we can tell, it does not occur if you are using Apache as your server. It only occurs of the following set of conditions is true:

Your web server is IIS (apparently any version)
You have edited your template web pages with an HTML editor ON A PC where that web page editing tool inserts extra line feeds at the end of each line.

It seems the issue does NOT occur if your web pages have no line feed in them - which is normally the case as many web designers use Dreamweaver or equivalent and edit pages on Macintoshes. It has long been a standard for windows based tools to add an extra Line Feed at the end of each line so it is more than a little ironic that IIS server does not seem to handle pages with those in them.

This version of TM has an option of eliminating them from the outgoing page. Your other alternative is to eliminate them in the source web pages. To turn on this flag:

go to setup->default data
click on the web tab
click on the 'IIS compatibility - remove all linefeeds' box.
restart your web listener

Misc Changes

Fixed an issue with donations that were entered as a hard pledge. Under certain circumstances, after the donation was entered and an attempt was made to change it, the list of donation campaigns would be a reduced set. This has been fixed.

A new preference has been added to 'system preferences' in the 'box office' tab. This limits the number of people who can simultaneously build mail lists. The default has been set to one person at a time. While we recommend this setting, if you wish to change this, it should be done if you rarely ever get freeblock messages.

Added an error check to prevent transfer of a payment from an order in one outlet to an order in another outlet.

Refresh the payment list window with the proper order number after transferring a payment from one order to another

Fixed a out of balance bug if site is using mailing or ticket reprint fees and a ticket was added to the order after the initial order was taken.

Fixes an issue with notifications and alarms on notes hanging a PC under certain circumstances. This no longer occurs.

Added a check to the 'change price' button on the sell ticket window to check for any 'plug-in' on a sales promotion and implement the rules.
