Note: Read prior release notes for any mandatory web pages changes. There are no mandatory web page changes for this version unless you plan to use the new windows mobile remote ticket scanners.

Before upgrade
  • Read the release notes for any version prior and follow the directions
  • Stop web sales and close all shopping carts. Then manually release any left over 'i' holds in any events that you need to do this in
  • Complete your end of day. Deposit all funds, create all sales entries and post to the GL.
  • Verify the database using data utilities and ensure that everything is ok.
  • Make a backup copy of the database
After upgrade

  • Updating the database from 6.75 or 6.76 might take about 15-30 minutes, depending on the number of patrons you have. Updating from 6.78 might take another 30 minutes to update transaction records. Updating from 6.80 or later should be fast

Web Sales Changes

palmTime.html new file that returns the current time to the windows mobile device so that they are synchronized.
in WebPages folder
TMerror.txt

added error messages 10123 and 10124. If you have made no changes to this file, then simply replace it. If you have made changes to this file, edit it with excel, add the new error messages, and save as text only.

Note: if you do not change this file, you will get the default messages and the only anomaly you may see is that starting the web listener will report that there are fewer messages in your file than TM expected. It will not affect the operation of Theater Manager.
