Improve credit card security

7.05.00 Changes (Aug 26)

Accounts: fixed a SQL error when duplicating account numbers on the chart of accounts, so this now works.

General: added more explanatory messages in the duplication of records

General: revised all areas in TM to look at the credit card record for card information instead of the transaction record. At the same time, change all existing credit cards in the system to use stronger encryption processes.

7.05.03 Changes (Sep 7)

Patron: fixed display of title on the window when the entire household is selected

Patron: fixed display of the people in the household in the middle pane when the entire household is selected and there are multiple outlets. Each patron is now shown only once

Patron: set the display of patrons to be sorted by last name, first name and company so that the order is predictable

Patron: relationship list now displays properly when clicked on a patron in a household. If you click on the household, then no relationships are shown because TM is unable to determine which patron you mean... and you could have relationships between patrons in the household.

Patron: on the list of donations, added a total at the bottom of the screen if multiple donations are selected.

Patron: column titles on the donation list have been shortened for clarity

Patron: added search capabilities on the donation tab so that subsets of donations may be viewed.

Patron: default sort for donations in the patron window is from newest donation to oldest.

Patron: on patron search window and on the household list within the patron, any deceased person is now shown with a gray people icon.

Reports: donation combined giving level reports now accumulate properly if for all 3 summary options

Reports: donation receipts no longer show the 'advantage' or 'benefit' amount on the receipt if there is no benefit assigned to the donation.

Reports: daily sales reports for sales/exchanges/refunds now properly includes discounts, ticket fees and taxes

Events & Dates: Duplicating prices from one event to another now works.

Events & Dates: volunteers no longer appear twice in the list of volunteers working a show. The checkbox to show only people working a performance now also works properly

Events & Dates: the total on the bottom of the G/L tab now includes the taxes

Ticket sales: There was a problem using the transfer button in any ticket sale (before event, quick buy or normal), whether for the first sale or while adding a ticket or exchanging tickets. Under certain circumstances, the ticket could end up under another patron, but the same order - and this has been fixed. The order rebuild function has been enhanced to fix any orders that are in this state, so if you find one, rebuild the order and the tickets, payments, fees, etc will appear under the correct patron. The transfer function now also created TTF and TTT transactions if it was already posted.

Ticket Sales: Negative order fees can now be added to an order.

Ticket Printing: has been fixed when printing tickets from PC's to ethernet Practical Automation printers so that it no longer gives an invalid status message once in a while. You can now print with no delay set up for ethernet ticket printers on both Mac and PC platforms

Ticket Printing: Ethernet printing now properly supports two IP based printers when ticket faces are set up to print on one or the other. Tickets will now end up being sent to the proper printer.

Ticket Printing: Preliminary support for Boca ethernet printing added.

Donations: using the up/down arrow on the donation window while in the campaign list will no longer update the solicitor field until after the user tabs out of the campaign popup field. This avoids messages that the solicitor has changed.

Donations: search for matching gift company has been fixed. Now only matching gift companies can show up in the list.

Donations: matching gift amount and ration is now being calculated correctly.

Donations: deceased patrons now have a default recognition name that starts with 'the estate of ..' so that there is clarity that the patron is deceased when entering a new donation.

Donation Campaigns: fixed redraw issue on the campaign setup window after entering the donation benefit account number.

Conversion: During conversion from version 6, patrons with a spouse record and a balance owing caused that balance to appear on both the patron and the spouse. Now, conversions will assign the balance to the patron and the spouse will have no balance owing. The next upgrade to 7.06.00 will fix any patrons in error in existing databases.

EOD: Added new test for batch close message from NDC Canada after service Pack 8 has been applied. This should allow normal settlement to occur with the correct message instead of forcing the batch to close.

Outlet: web shopping carts now only show up once in the shopping cart list on outlet version

Outlet: lookup of employee on donation for second outlet now works properly.

Web: fixed bug that could cause the web listener to die if the web programmer asked TM to supply the map of the venue... but the graphic image had not been created for that platform. EG. the map might have been created on a PC, but the listener is a Mac and no image was created. Now a 'null' image is sent back.

Exporting: exporting donations and other information now works if no criteria is given and in other situations where the join conditions were incorrect

Exporting: changed the default name on an export file to be the title of the window that asked for the export. This causes a much better default file name in the case where the list is within a tab in a window.

Payments: fix to allow swiping of credit cards in the payment window.

Export of Mail List: fixed the default export name

Ticket Sales: found issue with tooltips causing a stack trace when the tickets were in process of being sold.
