Use the 'About Theatre Manager' screen

1. Open the 'About Theatre Manager' window as a Master User
   • Mac: go to Apple Menu->About Theatre Manager
   • PC: go to Setup->About Theatre Manager
     
2. Click the button.
   
   Theatre Manager will check the Internet and determine if there is a newer version of Theatre Manager available. If there is one, Theatre Manager will download the appropriate Mac or PC updater to your desktop automatically.
   
3. You will be asked if you want to FTP the update or use a browser. Using FTP is faster but not all networks are configured to allow this. Using the web browser is the safest and most reliable. Use the one that works best for you.

Downloading a new version does not update Theatre Manager.

It just verifies if there is a newer enhanced version and, if one is found, downloads the latest updater to your computer. You will then have to quit Theatre Manager when the download is finished and run the updater program. This means you can download the updater at any time and then update later in the day or the evening after the day's business. You can copy the updater from one machine to another once downloaded, so you do not need to download on each machine.
