Downloading an Update

  1. Read about downloading files if you have never retrieved a file from the Internet.
  2. Start Theatre Manager, log on as a master user and follow the steps below

      Window Platforms
      Step A: Log into Theatre Manager as Master User
      Step B: Go to the Setup menu
      Step C: select About Theatre Manager

      Macintosh Platforms
      Step A: Log into Theatre Manager as Master User
      Step B: Go to the Apple menu
      Step C: select About Theatre Manager

  3. Click on the button called 'Updates'
  4. you will be asked if you want to download via web browser.

Installing an Update **

  • You can download the update at any time. However, only install the update if the box office is closed or it is a dark day. Some upgrades can take longer than others.
  • Read about the changes in the current release to see if they are of use to your venue and what preparation may be required
  • Before installing any update, always make a backup of your program and database.

7.36 Added the ability to sort the list of items in a 'merged row' in the word processing document. This means you can control the order that the table in a form letter appears. Also added the ability to renew a pass from the order window. Also fixes a problem with the save button being unresponsive in some situations.
7.34 Adds pictures to the patron record and the ability to mark the patron as 'cash only'. Numerous little fixes everywhere.

7.06 Re-implemented the Patron statistic record tracking in Theatre Manager. Changed the database connection management so that intermittent 'in a transaction' failures that occurred on Windows should be gone. 7.03 This is the first public release of version 7 at selected venues. Since it is a complete re-write of Theatre Manager, the features and enhancements are in the hundreds, both big and small.
